How to know when your facebook is hacked?

22 Jun

Dudes and dudettes…

I have been over-working these last days, and I feel completely drained. I feel the urge and need for a weekend in some nice hotel, just relaxing and chilling. And its only…TUESDAY! 😦 Anyways been surfing and I came across an interesting thing which will definitely help each and everyone of you 😉

If you haven’t read about the new security feature of facebook, you can actually have a feature turned on and you will be updated when someone, somewhere logs into your facebook account. Here are the steps:

  1. Login to your account using the actual web. Not the mobile or touch site.
  2. On the top-right corner, click on the “Account” drop down and go into “Account Settings”
  3. Scroll down till you see “Account Security” and click on it to show options.
  4. Switch “Would you like to receive notifications for logins from new devices?” to “Yes” and Save.

So when ever some strangers log into your facebook, you will get an email notifying you of this activity. Thus it’s not advisible to have the same password for your email and facebook.

Know your stalker and…your hacker 😉

Have a great week people…

This option is very annoying when you use one of these wordpress scripts to import note comments to your blog. Facebook then tells you than someone tried to login in some server in the US. I don’t like it.
